Applies to digital unclassified scientific research data, not already covered by existing NASA practises, Applies to all NASA employees, including full- and part-time employees; as well as support-service contract employees, consultants, and temporary and special Government employees, Also applies to awardees from non-NASA organisations that publish scientiic research or compile digitial data sets resulting from research, development and technology programs funded through a NASA grant, contract or other agreement, All proposals and project plans submitted will required a Data Management Plan, Published articles arising from research, should include how underlying data can be accessed, Reasonable costs of data sharing may be included in the proposal or project plan budget
