This site is a subject based repository, focussing on the contributions of women writers throughout history and aiming to promote awareness of the breadth and variety of women's writing. There are about 300 texts available on the local server, others are made available via links to external sites although some of these links no longer work. Many texts are in English but there is a small proportion in other languages.
