Special Conditions
- Applies to peer-reviewed research articles that are submitted for publication from 1st April 2013.
- Applies to peer-reviewed research articles (including review articles not commissioned by publishers) published in journals or conference proceedings.
- Authors may comply with policy by publishing in an Open Access Journal or Depositing in a repository
- If an Open Access fee is paid, a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) License must be used.
- Open Access Publications must also allow immediate deposit of the Version of Record in other repositories
- Open Access fees may be reimbursed via block grants to institutions
- Authors who do not pay an Open Access fee, must deposit their work under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial (CC-BY-NC) License, or equivalent is acceptable. A CC-BY-NC-ND licence is not compliant.
