- FISAR believes that scientific knowledge should be a mankind heritage and is committed to the open disclosure of research to the general public.
- The purpose of ONE GRANT ONE OPEN PAPER is to support open access publications for researchers who do not have a specific grant for this. Contest is open throughout the year.
- The application must be made by means of a letter of request from the principal investigator justifying why his research falls within the mission or objectives pursued by FISAR.
- The manuscript has to be enclosed, which should clearly indicate FISAR's support in the relevant section, if this is granted.
- The manuscript should be deposited in a public PREPRINT repository such as bioXirv or a similar one, and should be updated to the latest version that is accepted for publication in one Open Access magazine.
